JAMES DICKERSON

James Dickerson, aged fifty-six years, died suddenly Monday night at the home of his mother on the corner of Market and Walnut streets. The deceased had been in his usual health and was about town until nine o'clock when he went home. He sat up talking with his brother until eleven when he retired. Soon after he was seized with rheumatism of the heart and expired in a short time. The funeral took place from the residence Wednesday at two o'clock, services by Dr Runyan. Mr. Dickerson was a member of the 154th Indiana regiment during the war and was a member of the local G. A. R. He was a bachelor and was a man generally respected in the community. - thanks to Kim H
